Retreat

I went to our women's retreat this weekend, and it was fabulous. Of course I had reservations about leaving my babies, but I'm glad I went. It was a great break from chores, kids, chaos, and diet :)
I enjoyed spending time and really getting to know the gals from our bible study and also other women in the church that I hadn't gotten the chance to meet prior. They are a group of phenomenal women and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. Most importantly, I had a weekend where I grew closer to Our Savior. I came home a better wife, a better mom, a better daughter, and a better disciple.
Credit to Lawrence for keeping the kids in one piece...no, he really did an awesome job. When I saw Ally the next morning, she told me all the things she did with daddy, including adopting a new pet. Not what you think, thankfully...its her new pet rock. She carries it around with her everywhere for the past 2 days.
