Higher electric bills are on the way

Click title for link to main story.

I've been telling people since Feb when I got back from Dallas and our annual convention. Energy prices are at a all time high in a long time.

"But the tide turned as natural gas, which essentially sets the rates for all Texas power, climbed 23 percent since the first of the year. Most of that came in the last six weeks."

"If you could go to the gas pump and push a button to lock in a price for the rest of the year before it hits $4 this summer, wouldn't you do it?" asks Jeff Weiser, president of First Choice Power, an Irving-based electric retailer. "That's exactly what people can do with their electric rates."

You know who to call ;)
