What a cry baby!

Today was the first day of school! Go figure, she'd pick today of all days to sleep in. We had a very busy weekend so she lost out on alot of sleep. She got up just in time to change, grab a yogurt and drink in the car. We got to class and she was so excited to put her lunch box up and hang her backpack. The parent always takes their child to the potty before class starts. It was the funniest thing to see her expression as she sat on the potty. Her eyes lit up, and she said "Mommy! I'm not falling in the potty!" because they have the miniature toilets. When we use public restrooms, I always have to hold her up cause she falls right through ( I bought one of those foldable seats, used it for a few days and realized I don't feel like sanitizing it everytime, so I just hold her now). I'm glad she pooped with me and not Mrs. Mac or Mrs. Cynthia.

Now she's was ready to play! She went straight for the paint and never looked back. I kissed her goodbye and walked out.

So you see, the cry baby was not my sweet Ally, but her mom who is having a hard time seeing her baby so grown up. I kept my composure talking to the other moms since we were all meeting up for breakfast, and made a break for my car and broke down while talking to Lawrence. Man, oh man, I can't imagine how I'm going to react when she starts kindergarten.

That is awesome Jess. I am so glad she did so well.

Yes, I cried more than Isabel did when she went to school. It is so hard to watch them venture out on their own.

I'm a big cry baby too!!:)
