Reason I'm mad and why I should be so I'm sorry.
Everyone has an opinion and all I'm saying is if you have an opinion please back it up. We can agree to disagree, but I can't except it when you consider youself "a realistic fan" and would rather have jason white (who does not bleed burnt oragne).
So I will again say sorry. I just wanted to discuss this and find out why and how this opinion was formed as it intrigues me very much.
I am not going to stuff the "vince" pill down your throat. I will only present data that helps support my cause. If you can present fact, like lyndon saying james is better cause he wont he big 12, that i can agree with. and ends that conversation.
so one more time.
1) I forgot there are people that love Texas football but would rather see them win a big 12 Conference, But still lose in bad in a Big Bowl

Lyndon would rather win the Big 12 and Lose a big 4 bowl
I on the other hand would rather lose the big 12 and win a big 4 bowl.
2) There are longhorn fans that have no statistical or historical data but only have player preference to players who beat OU.

This is by far the best season in terms of winning against OU and ATM. And everyone is ranked. But guess what? I don't think Applewhite is qb here. And we Lose in the big 4 bowl again big.

Applewhite finally beat OU, but loses to ATM, Nebraska, and a bowl game to #24 Arkansas
So any year we beat or tie OU, we have an overall crappy year. Except for this one so I agree with Lyndon that James has more credit as he has tied OU, Beat Nebraska in the big 12 but no major bowl win with 2 shots at it.
So chalk one for Lyndon as I think James Brown is the Qb. Note taken as this is not a soft schedule and looks to me James Brown should be the best QB.

We beat OU (who is unranked) and lose to a ranked ATM team and have one of the worst seasons to memory. No bowl apperence.
3) Then there are longhorn fans that look at stats and historical data that dates back to lyn and kat UT days.

# - Rose Bowl
The last time we lost 1 game was in 1981 & 1983 before you guys were in UT.
Big 4 bowl win. beat eveyone except OU but lose by 12.
I'll take this season every year.
so again. sorry if i came off harsh or what not. I think I bleed orange a little bit and just wanted to know your opinions. I'm not going to be like "if u don't like vince, i hate you". come on now.
so story so far
James brown with big 12 win and losing to ranked big 4 bowl.
Vince beating ATM, TECH, big 4 win over michagan, and at #4 ranked OSU
I think Vince wins big 12 he is the greatest hands down. no question. he doesn't have to win the championship as that pre-dates the 1980. And I agree with Lyndon, u win the big 12, it's not a question if he is the greatest but a fact. even with a lost to OU and if he were to win the big 12, Vince would have accomplished something we have never seen before.
so again sorry kathie for coming off to harsh before.
