Law keeps saying its an end of an era, with a hint of sadness in his tone. I say its the contrary...
You have 2 of the greatest kids we could have ever prayed for. A wife who loves you more than when she first "went out" with you 15 years ago. A job that allows your wife to stay home with your kids at the same time allows you to have a schedule where you get to spend so much time with your kids. Parents and In-Laws that are every bit a part of our lives as they were when we were youngins' (believe it or not people, thats how we like it. Crazy, aint it?). Friends that will walk with you through whatever valley you may be stumbling through.
I'd say this new era totally annhilates your past era where you were just a dorky kid, wearing mismatched clothes, and playing video games till wee hours of the night because that was the only thing to keep you from tearing your eyes out from boredom.
What more can one ask for? Happy Birthday, Grand Chawhee!

nothing wrong with the old man 30s era.
but i grew up attaching being 30 as over the hill. There was a show "30 something" and there was a chubby white guy with red curly hair. he looked ancient to me. Now the old one has become me. doooh
