Watched the Lord of the Rings 2: Two Towers for the second time tonight, but on an Imax screen. They dubb it the "Big Screen". They are correct in saying that because the screen is gigantic but the film projected doesn't utilize it because the movie is still shot in 35mm and Imax screens displa 70mm. So if they were to fill the screen, the movie would be so distorted.

The movie was at 11pm and since they had like 15 commercials and trailers we didn't get out until 2:30am. By the time I got home and tucked jessica into bed it was close to 3:30. Played some animal crossing and bang what do you know, it's almost 4am. So I might as well blogg this because it is very rare i'm up all night and not tired. So what did i do for the next 2 hours to keep me up? I played and beat metroid fusion for my gameboy. very entertaining game, but short. 5hr to complete but that doesn't include deaths and map reading.

anyhoo, back to the movie review. the sound system rocks because when they blew up stuff you could feel the vibrations in your pants and when the bird shrieked it was so scary. the film itself is the same and looks okay becuase your so close. Kinda annoyed that the bottom right and left and some image clipping. Like that put a filter on the lense and it got croppped off. The movie was very entertaining, but man mugee was knocked out like light.

would i recommend it? for 9bucks with no matinee and student discount, you must really like the movie becuase it really isn't all that much different visually.
