So, Saturday night I went with Jessica and her parents to the Philly vs. Houston game.
The game was good and all, we whooped up on them by 25pts. I contribute that to team ball movement and getting yao ming involved early. Kinda dissapointed that Eddie Griffen didn't get too many minutes and didn't start. But I gotta say Yao Ming has good passing vision and nice passing techniques.

Anyhoo, the big news of that day is....
-Jessica and I were filling out a bunch of nba all star ballots when this guy who works with the Rockets asked me if I wanted to participate in a game during half time. He pointed me out because I was wearing my Rocket shooting shirt. Well, during half time there were 12 people and there was only supposed to be 10. This one guys rushed his kid in saying he was in it. Well he was immediatly found as a fraud because
1. he was like 10 yrs old and doubt they would have picket him considering all the other contestants were in there twenties
2. all were picked because they had rocket apperal on. well the kid had a texans jerset. sheesh some paretns really are punks.
Well, we got it down to 11 people which was fine but kinda shiesty considering someone was trying to cheat

The game was called lets make a deal and you had the choice of taking the money which ranged from $10-100 for concession stands or selecting 1 of 3 boxes. For one i'm not going to eat $100 of concession stand food so I was only going for the prize. I was 3rd and the first girl got an autographed hat from francis, the 2nd girl got an autographed Mobley water bottle that looked exactly like mobley.

and i got the GRAND PRIZE. all expense paid trip to LA to see the lakers play the rockets. I was so freaked out, the announcer girl goes "so do you have a jersey" and i'm like "umm no" and she goes "because we are flying you out to see the rockets beat the Lakers"

Man that was fun, from the nose bleed seats to the front row baby. Anyhoo, they will contact me monday for details and i hope it will be for 4ppl but i doubt it. only bad thing is i think the game i a tuesday and during that week jessica has to close for work and will be kinda hectic.
